EMPLOYEE HONOR AWARD
Nola Judd
Congratulations Nola Judd
4th Quarter 2009
Jamestown
Employee Honor Award Recipient

Please join me in
congratulating Nola Judd of the Tribal Gaming Agency, who has been
selected as the 4th quarter honoree for the Jamestown Employee
Honor Award. Nola is among 5 other employees nominated by their
peers, supervisors, citizens or customers/patients for their
outstanding contributions to our workplace. Nominations were
submitted for staff in our administration, health services, human
resources, medical clinic & tribal gaming departments. The
quarterly Jamestown Employee Honor Award recognizes employees who
go above and beyond by providing exceptional service, creativity
resulting in cost savings or efficiency, playing a key role as a
volunteer for tribal functions/events, acting as an ambassador to
the community and demonstrating a high level of initiative. Here
are a few words from the nomination that Nola received
illustrating how she contributed in those ways:
“Everyday Nola brings to work a positive can do attitude to
supply necessary support services to our Tribal Gaming Agency. She
possesses a unique combination of skills with many talents and
capabilities that keep the many functions of TGA organized and
running smoothly…. In an effort to streamline our reporting
process, our Agency decided that all audits and incident reports
would be submitted to 7 Cedars Casino Management electronically,
instead of the paper format that had been done prior. Nola has
been directly responsible for implementing and refining the
process so it works to the benefit of all involved. Through her
work and interaction with all involved, the new process is running
smoothly and efficiently. Nola defines the meaning of “Team
Player” as one who thinks of all our needs and is able to respond
to them in an individual, timely and helpful manner in order to
achieve a common goal. She displays a high degree of honesty,
loyalty and integrity. Nola is warm and genuine with a keen wit
and strong moral character….She is a true asset to our Tribal
Gaming Agency.”
Nola was originally hired in 2002 as an Administrative Assistant
in Tribal Gaming. She resigned in 2004 and was re-hired in 2007.
As an expression of our gratitude for their contributions to our
workplace, the honoree’s name is added to a perpetual wall plaque
for display in tribal offices, and they may choose between $100.00
cash or a paid day off equivalent to a normally scheduled work day
(not to exceed 8 hours).
