Economic Development Authority (EDA)
The Economic Development Authority (EDA), was formed in 2005 as a political subdivision of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe.

The EDA was created to oversee the businesses owned by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and
develop additional enterprises to assist the Tribe in becoming economically self-sufficient.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Jamestown S’Klallam Economic Development Authority
is to assist the Tribe, its citizens and their families in achieving stable,
long-term, economic self-sufficiency, by;

encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship,
-
creating a stable economic foundation centered on the pursuit of for-profit ventures,
-
strengthening existing Tribal businesses,
-
providing employment opportunities for Tribal citizens, and
-
creating a sustainable revenue stream to support essential governmental services provided by the Tribe, including those to its Elders and children,
while preserving and enhancing the Tribal heritage and culture,
and utilizing the unique resources available to the Tribe.
